The Breakdown was at the Buffalo at Moorhead hockey game Friday night to catch the front-runners in Section 8AA against one of their chief competitors. The Spuds won 8-0, grabbing a hold of the favorite's role, but Buffalo coach Mike MacMillan know his team will improve as the season goes along. We also caught Moorhead's Quinn Buckellew tallying a third-period power play goal during a 5-on-3 advantage. Teammate Alex Altenbernd recorded a hat trick, while freshman goalie Chase Bitzer posted a shutout. Please click on the link in the right-hand column to start the action.
